Motivation
Build a routine worth coming back to.
Use your walking history to understand your progress and find reasons to keep moving.
Progress in Mova is about walking: the steps, walks and days that add up. There are no weigh-ins, no body charts and no promises about results, just a clear record of the walking you’ve done.
How to build a walking habit
Questions about progress.
What activity does Mova track?
Your daily steps and walking distance (from Apple Health or Health Connect, if you connect them) and the walks you record in Mova: their type, time, duration, distance, steps and an estimate of active calories.
Does Mova track my weight?
No. Mova asks for your current weight during setup to personalize your plan and estimates, and you can update it in your profile. It doesn’t keep a weight history or chart.
How do permissions affect what I see?
Without Apple Health or Health Connect, your progress shows the walks you record in Mova but not your everyday steps. Without location, walks still count, but no route or GPS distance is saved.
Are calories exact?
No. Calories in Mova are estimates based on your walking and the details you entered. Use them as a rough guide.
What counts toward a streak?
Your streak counts the days you reach your daily step goal. Your calendar also shows the days you didn’t, without judgement.
