Your plan and goalsExplained

How your plan changes from week to week

At the end of each week Mova looks at the walks you did and sets the next week: a small step up, the same again, or a lighter week. Missed walks are never carried over.

A plan that keeps rolling

Your plan always shows the current week and the weeks after it. Each week, Mova fixes the week ahead and adds a new one at the end. The weeks further out are a Likely plan until they come up.

When Mova reviews your week

There’s no set time. When you open Today or Plan after a week has ended, Mova looks back at that week and sets the next one. You don’t need to do anything.

What Mova looks at

Mainly: how many of your planned walks you did (or did in another way that counted), and whether walks were often ended early. Mova also notices when your everyday walking was already very high.

What can change

How the week went What Mova usually does You might see
You did most of your planned walks One small step up: a little more time, a slightly more structured walk, or one more walking day A little more time, A step up in structure, One more walking day
Some walks done, some not, or not enough to tell Keeps the same level Steady rhythm
Two weeks in a row with few walks done, or walks often ended early A lighter week A lighter week

Mova never makes two lighter weeks in a row on its own, and it only ever changes one thing at a time when stepping up. Open Why this week? at the bottom of the Plan tab to see the reasons for the current week.

Missed walks are never owed

If you miss a walk, it shows as Not walked · nothing to make up. Mova doesn’t add catch-up walks to the next days or the next week.

After a break

If you haven’t opened Mova for more than a week, Mova starts you again with an easier week, Easing back in: a fresh start after a break, with nothing you missed carried over.
