Milestones and personal bests
Milestones are thresholds you reach by walking, such as your first 25 km. Personal bests are your records. Both happen automatically, and a milestone you've reached is never taken back.
Find them in Progress › Achievements.
Milestones
Thresholds you reach by walking. They stay yours. You don’t join milestones; they happen as you walk. There are four tracks:
| Track | Thresholds | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| Distance walked | 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 km | GPS-measured outdoor walks recorded in Mova |
| Walking days | 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 365 days | Days with a walk of 5 minutes or more |
| Completed walks | 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 walks | Walks recorded and saved in Mova |
| Goal days | 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 365 days | Days you reached your daily step goal |
If you use miles, the distance thresholds are shown in miles.
A walk counts for Walking days and Completed walks when it’s saved in Mova and lasts at least 5 minutes. Everyday steps, warm-ups and stretches don’t count for these tracks; for Distance walked, neither do Health distance or a distance you entered from a treadmill.

Tap a track to see your next milestone and how much is to go. Reached milestones are never taken back. If a GPS correction later lowers your total, Mova says so, and the milestone stays reached.
Personal bests
Mova keeps three records:
- Most steps in one day (finished days only)
- Longest recorded walk (GPS distance of outdoor walks)
- Longest walking time
When two days tie, the earlier date keeps the record. Your first walk recorded in Mova sets your first records.

Why isn’t my fastest pace a record?
Not a record yet: phone GPS isn’t reliable enough for a fair pace. Pace is still shown for each walk.
