- Connect Apple Health or Health ConnectMova counts your everyday steps through Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. You connect once, in a few taps, and Mova only reads your steps and distance.
- How Mova counts your stepsMova uses the daily step total your phone already keeps in Apple Health or Health Connect, and adds any part of a Mova walk that Health hasn't counted yet. Nothing is counted twice.
- Steps not showing up or not updatingMost of the time Mova can't see your steps because Health access is off or Health hasn't recorded new steps yet. Find the message you see, then follow the checks for your phone.
- Why your numbers differ from another app or watchMova uses the step total in Apple Health or Health Connect, so it should be close to what Health shows. Differences usually come from timing, from which device Health trusts, or because distance and calories are worked out differently.
- Change or remove Mova's Health accessApple Health and Health Connect control what Mova may read and save. Change it there, or open it from Mova's Health & devices screen. Disconnecting stops Mova reading new data and never deletes your Health data.
- Using a watch or fitness trackerMova doesn't have a watch app yet. Steps from your watch still count in Mova when the watch shares them with Apple Health or Health Connect.
